Zip ties and jb waterweld?

I am going to be switching my substrate and modifying my rock work. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with jb waterweld and or using zip ties to secure rocks together?

I works yes.
Personally,as a cheap reefer, I’ve found the two little fishies putty on Amazon is the cheapest thing you can find.

Any experience with wet rocks and it? I am doing a whole new tank cleaning and substrate switchignso the rocks can be out for a little while

Oh yea. Done it.

Key is to get the glue and putty to kinda blend. Then the ties.
Ya gotta let the rock n putty dry as long as possible befor moving em.
If you put one on that can hold it that you can cut off later that works too.
