Shipped zoas should open up in 3 days or less. After that, survival rate is dismal. What’d you dip it in and do you already have zoas doing well?
I dipped it in Seachem reef dip,my other Zoas in my tank are doing great. Thanks for the info.I will patiently wait.Shipped zoas should open up in 3 days or less. After that, survival rate is dismal. What’d you dip it in and do you already have zoas doing well?
They just never open for me after that and end up melting away into the abysssurvival rate dismal? Why do you say that?
true in my case, so interested.

Im keeping my fingers crossedThey just never open for me after that and end up melting away into the abyss
Me too! At least it’s usually still under guarantee at that point so I can get a refund on it. But zoas are by far my biggest DOA, sticks and LPS come in fine but around 8-10% of the zoas melt for some reason, even though I have over 50 strains doing well!exactly my experience too, was so excited to get my first corals, when they arrived they were closed but I could see they were very bright, went from closed to black to melted to nothing in 48 hours!
