Zoa always staying closed

My zoa has been closed for weeks now. Used to open up but now it stays closed. Tried the top of the tank and the bottom but it won't open. Here's a before and after.

Sometimes they close up, but tend to open back up if they agree with your parameters or aren’t being bothered by pests. Try dipping the frag to see if anything falls off, then place it on the bottom. Observe it for two weeks before doing anything. Good luck!

Can't tell if it's just the different lighting in the pics but they look flat and have lost color maybe.

Any chance they're getting too much light and/or not enough nutrients?

Zoa experts (not me) could probably give better input if they knew a bit about your tank and lighting, plus parameters (especially nitrates/phosphates),,, or so I think.

Hard to tell..what are your phosphate and nitrate numbers?
