Hi all. Just bought a load of corals from someone breaking a tank and I've no idea what to call them. I like keeping a log of everything in my tank from dish, inverts, corals and any additives. I've attached pictures of nearly everything I think. If someone could take the time to circle the coral and tell me the name I would really appreciate it thanks

The first pic in your 1st post and third pic in your second look like hammers to me

@footgal may be able to identify some of your zoas and other corals (sorry @footgalI know I tag you a lot on these type of threads!)

Thanks dyerrm. I'm a reef newbie

Haha @dyerrm i don’t mind! I love a challenge!

okay so I’m gonna ID as best I can from left to right starting with the very first pic in this thread :)
1- nuclear green palys (invasive, keep them in check or remove), Gobstoppers, branching hammer (looks green/teal?), more hammer, cats paw/Birdsnest in the front, plating monti (red)

2- potato chip coral/pavona

3- blue mushroom, very standard coral I have some myself I think they’re awesome and very hardy

4- can’t really tell, could be a cup/scroll coral or a goni/alveopora that’s super upset. Clearer pics needed

5- unnamed (as far as I know) zoas. They look pretty pale like they’ve been in low light for a while so they may morph out into something we can put a name to

6- most similar to cats eyes zoas

7- most similar to orange bam bam

8-left side is radioactive dragon eyes, rest are unnamed as far as I can tell. Possibly Pandoras?

9- middle left side look kinda like sunny D, the rest are too white and faded out

10- crybabies/ Halle berry

11- middle one is green Birdsnest I think, or just green pocillipora

12- already named as radioactive dragon eyes :)

13- Gobstoppers/cats eyes kinda hard since the image isn’t totally clear and a little glowy

14- green nepthea? It’s super blurry :(

15- more green branching hammer

16-forest fire/bubblegum digi

17- that one in the back is Golden pavona (probably) the zoas I identified earlier

18- repeat pic of mushrooms :)

19- Gobstoppers (most likely, hard to tell with the quality)

20- repeat pic :)

21- honestly idk sorry :/

22. definitely palythoa of some kind, I really like the one on the left! Reminiscent of candy apple reds but obviously this is a paly and not a zoa :)
