Hi all,

I want to try a zoa garden tank with some hammers and torches on top of the rock work. Is this a bad idea or have others done it successfully?

zoas are very resilient corals! i am sure it would look good and work to how you want it. however, most of the zoa's will be under shade from the hammers/torches once they grow into a big colony.

I have seen torches melt zoas. But I have a hammer touching a ton of zoas and they are completely fine. I'm sure it depends on the specific euphyllia and how aggressive it is.
