I have had a pest, came in on some really nice Zoa frags I bought. Originally I thought it was some algae that the clean up crew would handle. Or go away on its own.

Manually removed as much as I could.

Any one have any idea what these are. Survived original dip. Manual removal, showed the had root like tentacles that wrap around the base of the zoa.

Algae kind of looks like Bryopsis. You also have some mini Brittle Sea Stars which are ideal for a reef tank.

I wait until mine close up at night and then take a soft brush to them and brush it all out. Every night until it’s gone. Haven’t had a huge issue since. I brush everything I can!

Definitely not bryopsis.
Nothing common in the stickies
Does not brush off. Only way to remove is with Tweasers as they have root like tentacles That seem to wrap around the base of the zoa.

Well... looks like some sort of clove polyp... ended up tossing a few frags. Very small clove polyps. Were mostly unphased by dips. Manual removal was pretty unrealistic
