i used to have some rastas in my old tank that died. I found them to be a nice medium size. I'm looking for something in that general color scheme in my new tank.

Are Zoa sizes sort of luck or are certain strains (races, species?) always bigger or smaller? My sunny Ds are big, my rainbow hornets are medium, and my fruit loops are small.

I'd like to order some rainbow incinerators or rastas. Is there a size difference? Is it going to depend on the store?

Depends not tank, light etc. but generally zoas (Rasta) are smaller then palys (sunny d)

Rainbow Incinerators are bigger than Rastas, but smaller than Sunny D's. I just got some and would highly recommend them.....better bang for the buck than some of the other higher end zoas/palys.

Regarding my previous post.....I looked again today and some of my Rainbow Incinerators do have larger polyps than my Sunny D's. They are growing really well.
