Definite frenzy. Good stuff, their quality control is impressiveI actually emailed them asking about it. They sent me the address and this place is right by my work. Only place in HK that has it. I actually got the reef frenzy nano because it’s cheaper and doesn’t contain seaweed as I have no tangs or other algae grazers. As soon as that food touches the water, everything comes out of hiding.
Not to chase numbers, but what kind of ballpark for these elements? My mag sits around 1300ish. Curious about the Iodine. Have never tested itSo many suggestions. Add Iodine and increase Mag. The Red staining is likely irritating the zoa amongst other corals in the tank. Just experienced this on my cube tank and added Red slime remover by ultralife and everything happy again
LRS food is by far my go-to. I make my own food as well. But oyster eggs, scallops, shrimp, mysis, rotifers + probiotics and more in LRS is something I can’t even attempt.Definite frenzy. Good stuff, their quality control is impressive
So in regards to this, if the stalks are long and stretchy, would that be interpreted as reaching for more light(like plants)? Or is stalk length specific to the zoa type? When your zoa has a stalk like that, you know that it needs light.
They’re begging for light. A survival strategy, just like plants. If you give them proper light, they’ll go back to normal. It’s obvious when you see it because the ones that are shadowed or just not getting enough will do it. Some just end up closing up and die. They’re hardy though. So in regards to this, if the stalks are long and stretchy, would that be interpreted as reaching for more light(like plants)? Or is stalk length specific to the zoa type?
You can take MAG to 1350 and Iodine . . . a few drop up to .05ml per day : 2-3X a weekNot to chase numbers, but what kind of ballpark for these elements? My mag sits around 1300ish. Curious about the Iodine. Have never tested it
