I use a 25-40% mixture of hydrogen peroxide and saltwater and dip them for about 5 minutes.... cheap effective and kills many types of algae too. Far as I know I've never lost a zoa doing this and have dipped hundreds. Only thing is to be careful not to directly breathe the fumes as it could make ya sick(happened to me once).
