Zoa discoloration

Really not enough infomation here. What kind of flow do you have it under? What is the PAR for the area of the tank it's in? Are your paramaters all in check?

I have a small zoa frag with 3 polyps that is losing its color. I've had it at medium and low height inthe tank but it keeps getting whiter. Any clues?
Try moving him to a shaded area.

but maybe give us your water parameters
Flow?
Lighting Situation?
Pictures?

So I use a 50W NICREW LED at about 60% intensity. Just blue actinic light mostly.
Water parameters:
pH: 8.0
Nitrate: ~ 15-20 ppm
Phosphate: ~ .10
Salinity: 1.024
Temp: 78°-79°
Alkalinity: ~ 9

Been trying to get my nitrates down.

This is the same zoa, I just fragged it. Had it around the same area as the bigger zoa frag but then started to notice it not opening up and losing its color so I moved it down.

That's strange. Usually, when a soft coral is losing color, it's a nitrate issue.

I wonder if it might have been stressed by the light at first, and started bleaching. How long did it take to lose its color?
