Zoa dominated 125g

Josh you have an incredible collection.
How are your zoas doing under your LEDs? better, worse, same
Fern

I don't know if it's because of the leds or for using nsw for the last few months out of lazines but everything is not as nice as always. When i changed to leds I lost 70% of my SPS....lol I only had 5. A lot of the zoas all the way on the top melted except the pest ones (of course) And most of my zoas got a bit smaller. My 3 rainbow acans turned yellow :( . I used a par meter to make sure everything was as close as possible to the halide par but I guess it's still different. On my frag tank with the same lights and plumbed together everything is still amazing lol. Who understands lol. I'm about to rip a bunch of stuff and put in the frag tanks to color up.

I was under the impression that by using natural saltwater you may introduce unwanted organisms, like algae, eggs from nuisance invertebrates.
It seems to me that zoas and palys do well in very different systems as long as no sudden drastic changes are made. Slow acclimatization seems to work best. Maybe you changed lighting conditions too quickly? Just my speculation.

Weak sauce!!!

Haha.. Have you ever tried to figure it out? I realize it would take a week so i'm assuming not.. But if that was my tank id be curious.

The day I added how much I had spent like 8 months ago is the day I started fragging lol.
