What equipement do you feel is helpful in keeping this tank the way it is? Such a beautiful tank!

There's not a single thing that makes my tank nice. It's a combination of water changes, flow, feeding. Keeping parameters as stable as possible is very important.

Way, way back on page one you mentioned your lighting schedule - "I use 3 250w metal Halides (3hrs a day) with 2 72' super actinic VHO (3hrs) and 2 60" reef brite xho blue led (10hrs)".
Are the VHOs on at the same time the halides are on, or are all on at different times? I've read in some threads by other big-time zoa players that the shorter but intense full-spectrum photo period coupled with longer lower intensity periods is what they believe makes their zoas grow such large and fat polyps. Just trying to understand how intense that 3 hour period you are using actually is, because you sir are growing some amazing corals.

Hey what are the zoas in the bottom right of the last pic? Bright green in the middle, purple, then orange on the end of the polyps

I'm in love with them haha. I'm planning on ordering a bunch of really high end zoas soon, already got rastas and a few others on my list

The lights only overlap 15 min. So if the halides are on and the vhos are coming on next the vhos turn on at 1:00 and the halides turn off at 1:15. The same with the leds. I don't have 2 lights together at the same time for a long time unless I'm taking pictures but it's still for a short time.
