Zoa dominated 125g

This tank has weak sauce written all over it.

Can you tell me how you acclimate a new coral into a tank? I am pretty sure I do it wrong so I need to see what erroneous does!

My method of acclimating a coral is very complex. I don't know if you can handle it. lol just take out of bag or container and put in tank. or dip and then put in tank. no acclimating of any kind..

Oh lol see I have a 14g biocube so I think acclimating is very important for me... Since lighting isn't different top to bottom and so forth... I've been doing what you do and I think it shocks my corals a bit

Are you referring to light acclimation or water parameter acclimation?

Both. In my biocube I have 3 different zoanthids, a hairy mushroom, two green mushrooms, a red mushroom, a goniopora and a trumpet. Many of those are new. I think when I put in one of my zoos that they became light shocked, slightly bleached. My paeans are pretty good. My nitrates are slightly high but those are being lowered as we speak... I know that could have some to do with it loosing some color. But really I was never positive how to acclimate them to light and water correctly in a tank like mine.

Hey josh whats up? I am not sure if anyone has asked you, plus I have been hunting through your thread like 50 pages, but whats your filtration setup(mechanical, chemical, and biological)? What skimmer do you run? Also what do you use for internal circulation? Do your zoas like lots of flow? Dont mean to bombard your with questions but I am curious to know. Thanks buddy
