Thanks ,Got a load of sea water offshore yesterday and a Mahi-Mahi along with the water . Probably do the water changes today .

I used to but I got the unbuffered version and it raised the alk too much in my tank so i stopped. I really didn't see a difference but I didn't follow the directions either.
Take me fishing next time!!!!!!

Thanks @joshporksandwich I didn't realize you were the same person featured on reef, I'm a fan of those latin lovers zoanthids! By the way, do you have any thoughts on iodine dosing? I'm getting my hands wet with my new zoa garden.

I add iodine once a week. Suggested dose on bottle.

I have been thinking about moving my halide to the beginning of the day like you had yours when you wrote the piece for the magazine. I have a 20k halide with blued LEDs for the supplement and am excited to see if it makes a difference. Also can you post of pic of how you mount your frags with the tile/frag plug combo. I could not picture that in my head.

Some reef shops carry the printed magazine. I have two copies. Josh's article on zoas and another article on acans. Can't get better than that!

On macna I had all my friends get me copies of the mag lol. I ended with like 50 copies. That acan article was great. It made me put all my sons acans under t5 to color after they turned yellow and orange under 3w leds.

Photobombed!!!! I glue the tip of my frag plugs so they are elevated (look at pic). When the colony grows I can cut the plate where the frags are at and glue it on a bigger frag or on a tile. If I glue on a bigger frag plug it already has a leg to elevate if I glue on a tile I can use the leg from the frag I just cut.
