Yes, what I had was apparently anthelia, not aptasia. But I did exactly what you posted because I don't want that in my tank either.

Haha good choice in my opinion. I find it much more of a nuisance than aptasia. I mean it can look great in tanks, but if you dont want it eventually everywhere in the tank it can get hard to control.
