Zoa garden question

hello all,

I'm looking into building a Zoa garden in my display tank. It will be more of a vertical garden but in low light. I have noticed through my frag tank that I have specific Zoas one of which are tyree Armageddon that seem to really like high light and will over exten their stalks. Is there a way to incorporate them into the garden as it will be lower light or should I just stick to ones that I find don't tend to extend.

Or could it be a flow issue? It will also be a lower flow zone aswell

Extending of the stalks is a good indicator of not enough light. If they need it they need it.

In my experience, the ones that tend to stretch and overextend are usually the more aggressive growers that'll crowd out everything else.

It's probably best to isolate them to their own rock so you'll be able to check their growth through fragging
