I’d like to get a zoa garden in my nano tank.
Most zoa’s are on 2 rocks but are starting to grow together because of the zoa’s. Is there a way to propagate the zoa’s in the tank? As when the rocks are unbreakable I can’t take them out of the tank.

Not sure what you are asking. Do you have them currently in a tank and want to move them to a nano? Do you have some you want to spread through fragging?

As far as growing, most zoas prefer "dirty" water and lower light.

I'm not sure exactly what you're getting at, but the simple key to making a zoa garden is just put a lot of nice zoa frags about 2-3 inches apart and let time do its work.

I’ll try to explain it better: the frags are in a nano tank, I’m making a “zoa garden” in a part of the tank, not the whole tank. The frags are on 2 bigger rocks, my idea with the rocks was when the zoa’s spread I can take the rock out to propagate (and make some money for other corals). But the problem is the zoa’s are growing the rocks “together” can I cut the rocks apart in the tank?

Thanks for responding, I tried to explain my question better in my previous post.

You can cut them apart if you are careful and do a nice water change afterwards. Should not be too much issue. Just try not to cut too much zoa as they will make a stink about it. :) Good luck!

Thanks, as it’s a 63 litre tank will a 6 litre water change be enough to get the toxins out of the system? I run carbon in my filter btw

I'm pretty sure you can just snip a couple heads apart and peel them off the rock, but as other said you should do a wc after.
