So I have a pretty full dragon eyes piece of rock about 1x2 inches. It's on my sand bed with no other rock around it. It's completely covered in dragon eyes. What will happen at this point? Will the grow into the sand bed or just not grow anymore? Just curious. If I move them next to another rock will the grow into the rock next to it?

Thanks!

They'll most likely incorporate some of the sand into the tissue & continue to spread on top of the sand. Without a solid base though growth might be much slower.

I like to strategically place small pieces of rock around colonies that are over growing, gives them something to attach to as they spread and makes fraging easier.
