Zoa help needed

From the pic they look unhappy. How long have you had them in your tank? I agree with above statements, water is to clean. Try feeding the tank more, our zoas love reef nutrition oyster feast and reef roids. I carbon dose with pellets as well since I like to feed heavy. They could be over saturated with light so moving to an area with less light and medium flow might help too. Leave the coral be for a few days without intervention once moved so it can have time to acclimate.
I just ordered some reef roids and having been really over feeding the tank lately to see if that helps. They have probably been in the tank about year and half and were good for few months then started shrinking up and hiding

Welp,
To me:
It could be lighting but the water is to clean and maybe to low in phos and nitrates.

I dose "Reef Energy" almost every day the keep organics up within the water column.

Sounds like I should get rid of the pellets...i don't wanna hurt all the SPS and LPS corals that I have

Thank you for all the advice! I will definitely test some things out and begin dosing food
Good call.
Testing is always to key to locking things in and holding them.

If you are overly concerned just take out half the pellets for now so its still working but not in "overdrive" you don't want to shock the system and pour in FOOD to get things up neither..you could possibly have a spike in your tanks parameters. Which is not good in a reef tank. Do little corrections at a time.

You said everything else is fine though right? Do you have other zoas? Have you also looked for zoa pox? ..white spots on em. .

Yea everything else seems to be fine and growing...only thing I could say is that the green slimer isn't out but it is still growing and no other Zoas yet bc these have been like this for so long I've held off on more

Do you have a red light? At night look when lights are out .look for bristle worms..I found out one time I had more bristle worms then i thought...any how reason I'm brining this up is I found them moving inbetween the zoas i had. Another thing i noticed was there barbs,.looking like fiberglass were sticking in the zoas sides.( checked with white led during day time) Irritating them. Making them stay closed. Went bristle worm hunting for a couple of weeks and waited..they opened up after a week .

Yes I have a red light and I'll check and see. I've never seen one in my tank but definitely doesn't mean they are not there!

They are sneeky!! At night Drop a pellet or two next to the zoas. Wait about 10 min. They will smell it and come out for em if they are there. One might be in the rock they are on.

No sign didn't see any at the moment but I will keep checking! And I dipped the whole rock the Zoas are on today and nothing came off or out of it

This thing is huge! Probably like 6 in long!

Lol glad you got em! Did he come out by the zoas?
He was near the Zoas kinda more towards the bottom though wrapped around another coral but I didn't get the whole thing, it broke! Pretty sure it's a bristleworm

Here's a better picture as I watched it have a heart attack in tap water!
