@joshporksandwic

was hoping you could give some insight...I bought these bam bam's around 3 weeks ago and for over a week they were extremely happy and even growing as you can see in the pictures below

Then all of a sudden they were mad, the only coral in the tank that was upset and started to look bad. I did have a bacteria bloom from some airborne source but it has since cleared and now they look like they have morphed a little and still aren't fully open.

Temp 79
Sal 1.025
Alk 9.9
Cal 410
Mag 1300
N03 0

lights are 2 AI vega's that max at 20/40 for 5 hours

1st pic is what they did look like, 2nd was last week and last is now this week...if you look close enough you can see some brighter orange around the mouths

I'm no joshporksandwich but my guess is possibly a little to much light?

When you get a new frag it takes from a few weeks to a few months to get acclimated. They look stressed. Without knowing the light intensity at the location of the frag I couldn't tell you if it's too much light or the bloom that you mention. Besides that i see very nice growth in just a few weeks. Just give them time and if they don't look better after another week lower them more in the tank.
