Looks like that’s what some call them so I’ll go with that for now. Thanks! They resemble KO nightmare zoas.
Your welcomeLooks like that’s what some call them so I’ll go with that for now. Thanks!
How’s the growth rate for you? Mine seem to take off at first but have slowed. I’m not sure if they want more trace elements like iodine or food.
Can you feed these guys mysis shrimp to each head or stick to something like reed roids?
Thanks and I’ll stick to the roids and I just got some rods food too. I’m dosing a few liquids (reef fuel and Acro power on opposite days) and will try lugols one day, I hear good things only.I got mine as a single so it took awhile to get going but now it's rolling along regularly kicking out new polyps. It might be having a tough time competiting with the other zoas on the rock.
As for nutrition (IMO) stick with reefroids, it's my understanding that most z'a and some p's don't have the ability to digest larger particulate like mysis. However, I think you could give rod's food a shot- if you thaw it the food dissolves down. I'm also a fan of dosing lugol's and vitamin c.
