A guy in my local reef forums is selling these. I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. He is calling them the walking dead...

lol I know the exact seller and I purchased this exact same zoa from him (he's in SC right?).
It's just a Hawaiian Ding Dang that has morphed this way under his lighting/water. It completely morphed under my parameters and now looks lackluster. Whatever he's doing, he's doing right, but unfortunately, it will likely not stay like this in your tank. This guy just decided to call them Walking Dead but it doesn't mean anything. It's 100% a Hawaiian Ding Dang.
fyi Hawaiian Ding Dangs are like Utter Chaos in that they morph dramatically under different parameters.
Yes. SC = Santa Clara.Actually this is the SF bay area.
Lol... big forum. I thought you meant the stateYes. SC = Santa Clara.
This is exactly what I was going to say! If you want them morphed out like that, they need sps-level lighting. I have some ding dangs 1” below the surface of the water as an experiment and they’re just starting to get some pink in them- nowhere near this picture so farlol I know the exact seller and I purchased this exact same zoa from him (he's in SC right?).
