Zoa id. Vday massacre?

bought these months ago.....grew out.......i know i had some vday massacre but ive had alot of palys and i am sort of sure these are them, but let me know what you think

No VDM have white mouths not green, regardless nice find. They are similar though!

IMO, that looks like a pic of V-Day Massacre under actinics. The substrate in the background matches the mouths.

I'm definitely no expert. Maybe a color balance guru could weigh in.

I do think they are a morph but not the original VDM from Atlantis. VDM have the black ring, the red between the mouth and the black ring. I notice on some of your its filled black all the way to the mouth. They are close but not true VDM palys IMO. Also the rings are well defined on your morph.

Correct. I do not have frags. Just my colony. I will be fragging again in about a month

I started with 3 polyps. I don't really know how long. I am guessing 8-9 months. The wife feeds corals all the time. So they eat all the time, Mysis shrimp.

to the op, i do think they are vdms, maybe not the original morph but still vdms nonetheless. it is too similar to the vdms to call it something else.

I notice that Atlantis lists them as the "New" Valentine's Day Massacres....was there an "Old" Valentine's Day Massacre version? I have some from Tomasz, and I'd have to say they look quite different from Browns'. Maybe it's just different lighting and photography issues, but his look gigantic and a much darker red than mine. Wondering if they are two different versions...
