Zoa ID

Trying to Id these two.
1

2

Apologies for Kraylen, most people here are actually helpful.

Can you get closer pics of the first two? Third is screaming it's familiarity to me but i'm blanking at the moment. Will look again tomorrow (right after I feed your My Miami again :xd: )

First one looks like some type of Lotus Eater, though I'm not sure on that. I'll also wait for better pictures. FYI, neither of those is a palythoa - they are both zoanthus sp.

Not everything has a name though... so it's kinda like chasing your tail don't ya think? If you like them, then sweet... if you have to have named coral to be happy, then call it something.. but give it a name like Gus, or Benson... so you get attached to it, and it becomes special to you. :D

My dog really seems to enjoy chasing his tail... but I tried to compare mine to some currently named zoas on CoralPedia.com and I just wanted some other opinions.

How about now?

Waiting for better picture on #2, but my thoughts at this point are

#1 Lotus Eater

#2 Cats eye

Well now I am on the road, the second zoa wouldn't open for a photo opp anyway :squigglemouth: ... now that I put everything in a bigger tank
I don't get much when I search lotus eater, but I'll keep looking.
I had someone else tell me cats eye too, thats what I think. I will still try to get a better shot when I return home.

This is the best I can get, they won't open up anymore than that. It must be the flow, I will move them again if I need to.
