Ones on the right were classified as vamps palys for $50 for the frag while the ones on the left were classified as rainbow fusion for $18. They look exactly the same to me though. Any idea on ID and actual value?

This is the problem with the name game. They are essentially meaningless, and you shouldn’t pay for a name. As for value, or how much someone will pay for them, it just comes down to how invested the buyer is in the name game and how much they like them. I would say they’re worth closer to $18 for two polyps than $50 for three. Personally, I won’t pay more than $10 a polyp, there are enough morphs out there that you can get pretty much any color or pattern for that price or less. There are a couple morphs that I might pay a little more for (I really like JF Daisy cutters and all of the hornet morphs), but I wouldn’t go over $20 a polyp no matter what.

Hi! I think youre talking about vamps in drag and sonic flare. These zoas are very nearly identical, as explained here by Darwin from Legendary Corals
Vamps in Drag is basically another name for Sonic Flares. I believe Cherry Corals started making the Vamps in Drag the more popular name, but I could be wrong.

Online photos make them a bit similar, but VW Bloodshots have a pastel coloration and pink ring. The Vamps in Drag have a more bright silver body with a reddish ring.

Here's some photo comparisons of both morphs.

That center polyp looking a bit different is completely normal of the morph. It may eventually look like the rest of the frag, or it might stay the same. Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Darwin
