I have this mini colony of lunar eclipse and the entire mini colony is closed or half open. Most polyps try to open but can't. It's been like this for about 2 weeks. I tried all different ways, lugols dip, moving the zoas different areas to get different flow or light. I noticed the frag has debris all over it, I quarantined it and blasted the debris all off. A few days later the debris came back onto the disk. Strangely, this only happens to this mini colony of zoas. I have the same zoas mounted on a diff plug and its fine. So I replaced the disk w/ a new one but seems like the debris keeps growing onto it. I had a giant turbo snail clean it all up in a separate container till it was debris free.

It looked ok for a few hours i started to see the polyps try to open, i see the orange skirts but not the mouth, then debris grows on it again. I'm not sure what it is but the zoas are still alive but very irritated from this "debris" which keeps coming back. Any suggestions?

you could try putting a thin layer of super glue gel on the entire frag plug/disk where the zoa is not covering.

Try to dip it in the "Coral Revive" by two little fishes. Follow the directions.

I would dip it longer like 10 minutes.

Then put the frag back to the tank with low flow. It should open few days later. It work on me.
