Zoa issue

This might sound stupid, or might have been covered in this forum already.

I have a set of pink zippers that have now been closed for two weeks. The other zoa's in the tank are open and doing fine.
I have a 29 gal tank, T5 HO, and the water is good:
Ph: 8.1
Mg: 1320ppm
Ca: 420
NH3: 0
No2: 0
No3: between 0 and 5

Seems like everything else in the tank is thriving and doing great except for these zippers. Right now they are sitting on the substrate roughly 2 feet below the T5's... the same place they have been since day one. I have had them now for a few months without any issues, then they decided to hide. I have checked the tank for nudi's and other things during the day and 30 min after lights out.

Any ways to get this boogers back out into the light?

Have you tried a peroxide dip? I have had similar issue in the past and this seems to work.

+1. I always do this for any of my zoas that won't open.

I would go with the coral dip and if peroxide doesn't work then get coral-med and use its iodine properties for healing.

I've had problems with hydrogen peroxide, we usually use furan 2 as a dip for stressed zoas, just Google for instructions

I agree, I've never tried it but I don't think I ever would either.

I gave them a dip in coral RX to see if that would work, if I see nothing in the next few days I'll give Furan 2 a try.. I figured I had the RX on hand so why not hit it.

A dip and high flow might help. Just leave them until they either open or pass. Sometimes you just can't save em.
