The last few weeks my tank has been doing well, and today everything looks great except this zoa, this particular zoa has been looking awesome and today something looks werid about it, it doesn't like to close up either and there was this black dot on the side of it, not sure of it shows up on camera, but here are general pics, any ideas? Every single zoa and LPs even two of my SPS look great

I dont see anything that stands out. I have a couple hundred zoas and at any given time their are a few that are not happy for one reason or another. I regularly will pull a dozen or so frags that are not looking quite right and dip/clean them.
Not having a coral dip on hand is a problem if you are going to be keeping corals. Have some kind of coral dip on hand for situations like this and when you are adding new ones to your tank.
My main dips for zoas are Coral Rx, Revive, Hydrogen Peroxide and Lugols Iodine.

Hello,

Zoa can handle a fresh water dip, but I would hold off on that unless you cannot get on of the dips Dan recommended and you are out of options . I have kept Lugol’s in the closest forever. Love the stuff. Hopefully it is just having a bad day.
