Agree- valonia AKA bubble algae and when within coral can be tricky for removal. Adding crabs may also cause damage to zoa. Same applies to rabbit fish- They will eat the bubble and zoa equally.
In a case like this, I often take a small needle and have 3/8 tubing ready and attach needle to the end of tubing with rubber band and pop each one and siphon at same time- You will have removed all spores and foreign material in area.
Had to do this in the past with birdsnest coral and was gone 100%
 
Thanks, these bubbles are hard and crystal like.......is that true of bubble algae? Can not really find anything in my short search.

At times, feel firm until you poke them
