Just off hand, what named zoas like low light and prefer to placed on the sand bed? Just wanted to throw this out there, because it's hard to know where to place them. I have no issues as of now, but was just curious about your experiances with placement.

Alot of them like lower light but some will need medium or higher light. The best bet is ask seller of light requirement.

I have Fire&Ice + Blue Angels (I think) on a rock too big to go anywhere but the sand bed and I have see good growth from both over the past month. Running 24" T5HO 2x 10,000K white + 2x Actinic Blues (not sure what range)

My bam bams like it dim. I run my razor at preset 1 (plenty of time at 100%) so the tank gets a lot of light. Everything else seems to do just great anywhere in the tank.

Depends on what type of zoa it is IME.....with that said most of the ones that I have in my reef are very adaptable if acclimated to the conditions properly

IME...... Blue hornets, Rastas, and Utter chaos to name a few.

I have those 3 near or just above the sand bed and they are doing great. I was considering moving my utter up higher for better color with leds, but I might reconsider. I moved my car from low to way up high and there color really shines and they are much happier.
