My frag of rainbow cosmos zoas has been slowly losing its color for the past few days. I did recently start running GFO in a reactor to bring my phosphates down and even though I starts with a small amount of GFO they came down pretty fast. I assume this is why it's losing color but everything else in the tank still looks great. Other than that nothing has changed.

Thoughts?

Parameters:
Salinity - 1.025
Temp - 79.3
Cal - 396
Alk - 9.5
Mg - 1300
PH - 8.3
Nitrates - 10
Phosphates - went from .21 to .11 in 24 hours. And I haven't tested it in a few days.

What they looked like early last week.

What they look like as of Thursday(2 days after adding the reactor). The white specks are sand partials that fell on it after a water change and were removed after the pic.

Zoas are known for morphing, I would ask the seller what kind of lights he was running and also give it more light. I have the same zoas growing up top and on the sand bed the ones up top are much more vibrant. Good luck

They've been in my tank for about a month and the seller was running kessils. Just don't know why they looked great up until a few days ago.
