an anyone help me figure out what the problem is with my pink halls zoas?

Got it last month from a local reefer and ever since its been in the tank, they seem to be melting away but all my other corals are doing fine.

Alk : 9
Cal : 420
Mg : 1320
NO3: 10
PO4: 0.1

Getting roughly around 100par in the area

If everything else is fine it’s probably a bad or sick colony. I would isolate it from the others and dip it just in case. Don’t toss it because sometimes they do recover . Check out these zoa gardens I have since yiur are beautiful too.

Wow your zoa colonies are massive! I will consider a dip to see if it'll get better but I feel like maybe it might be too late? It's been like that for a full month already

My tank is getting packed at the moment and I tried to squish in as many zoas as possible on that little ledge

Gently blow on it with turkey baster and see if it perks up the zoas. in a few hours if no change, consider pulling the plug it's on and dip in either peroxide or iodine. Rinse quickly in ro water and return to the tank

Have tried blowing it before my weekly waterchanges and its still not doing well. Guess I'll just have to dip and see what happens.

What par were they receiving in the previous tank? Any white spots or brown or white film on the zoas?

I'm not too sure exactly the par before but for sure it was a lot higher than mine. Do you think that could be a reason? Haven't noticed any spots or film on the zoas.

Can you post a pic of the zoas under white light thinking it could be a bacterial or fungal infection

Reduce the white intensity and see how they respond

Actually that could be a problem. I'm running a single hydra32hd on a 30" length tank hung 14" above the waterline. My whites are actually at 60% and blues/violet/uvs at 110-120%

Reason I run this high power is cause I am not getting enough par for my acros in the middle of my tank. So I won't be able to turn it down as I feel my acros may suffer.

makes sense. Even at 5%. . . consider it a light intensity test

Hard to take a closeup pic but this is the best I can do
I would move the zoa away from the other zoas in the event it spreads. Try a furan 2 dip series. One package to one cup tank water for 10-15 min once a day for three days then place in high flow. If you do not see any improvement in a week you can try a Hail Mary and try a peroxide dip

Seems like any new zoas don't like me at all.

Got this rainbow infusion zoa looking all nice and happy on my frag rack. Left it there for a couple days and all is good until I glued it down to my rockwork.

Been closed up like this for the past few days.

Only problem I can think of is that my Mg somehow dipped down to 1200 and I test weekly... It was at 1300 last week but somehow it managed to drop 100ppm in a week. Not sure how that is even possible. I triple checked and I'm getting a consistent 1200ppm Mg.

Can't seem to figure out what the problem is as all my other zoas are doing fine.
