I have a decent size colony of eagle eye zoas. About a week ago I noticed that one of the polyps started changing colors. I didn't think much of it cause it was only one polyp, but now I've noticed I have a few more going the same direction with the same color. Why is it morphing? Can I stop it or should I let it go? I apologize about the pics in advance as I'm using my camera phone which really sucks to say the least! Lol but what do you guys think about this transition? It's going from the true eagle eye zoanthid color to a purple center that's goes to yellow, then red back to purple with a yellow skirt.

Coral is morphing due to the green zoas being next to it. If it were me I would let it continue to morph to see what cool zoa's you get. You can always frag a few unaffected polyps and have a new colony elsewhere.
