Zoa moving?

I was given a frag with some RedPE and a frag of Eagle Eyes. When I went to get my daughter today I noticed a lone EAgle Eye floating around the bottom of my tank. Just got home and it's halfway up the LR. Hmmmm, is this normal? It's open and looks happy but how did it get there???

sometimes zoas and palys break off from the rock for various reasons but can be perfectly healthy, so if it breaks off from colony it floats in the tank until it finds a low flow area and eventually start a new colony

Nice! I don't care that it's a simple Zoa it's pretty and color I hope it attaches itself.

I get them floating all the time. Thats when I catch em and glue em to a new frag plug Trade them at the LFS for something new-lol.

I have had polyps break off. I have seen some at the bottom on the sand. It's great to have them frag themselves.
