I’ve got candy apple zoas (green), the other zoas idk what they are because I got those by accident in a shipment, and the 2 baby polyps are LA Lakers. Questions are 1) do they look healthy to you? They are fairly new tho. 2) should I feed them? 3) how do I get the baby’s to grow and how long do you think it’ll take? 4) how can you tell if they’re dying? Just asking because the (opened) ones seem a bit dull in color. Appreciate all of your answers. Here’s some pics...

if they are open they are fine most of the time. they wont die while being open. I would give them more time as they are new. The babies will grow by themselves, and you dont need to feed the zoas.

How old is your tank? It looks fairly new to me and you seem to be having a diatom bloom.

1) If they are fully opened, and the polyp is plump then they are usually healthy. To me yours seem to be fine.
2) Only feed them light for now. They don't need to be fed. For faster growth I know some people like to lightly feed them. But that's not required.
3) Babies will grow naturally with good water quality and light. Every month you should expect to see a few babies sprouting if they are healthy and like their environment. This also depends on the polyp as some zoas grow extremely fast, while some will grow a new baby every few months.
4) I can usually tell when a zoa is dying from it being closed, the polyp shrinking, or very think webbing in between polyps (along with them shrinking).

It’s 6months old now. My water parameters are all in good range. I do often feed therefor my rocks are very brown and the green algae you see has been at that point basically the whole time and has not spread. Do you think I should scrub the rocks? Again parameters are fine tho. I appreciate all your feed back thank you. Also how long should polyps take to open? Confused because some open quickly and others are only slightly opened but are fairly new (4days). What are your optimal parameters?
