I think I found a zoa eating Nudibranch on some frags I picked up today. Yay or nay on the ID?

Thanks. My first one. Didn't find any more or any eggs. Fingers crossed!

That was pre-dip. It was stuck to the bag and then my finger when I transferred it to the container I took a pic in.

Yep, defiantly looks like a zoa nudi to me. Was it on some greenish yellow zoas? They usually turn the same color as the zoas they eat. Which makes it hard to find them sometimes. Make sure to dip every few days to kill the newly hatched as none of the dips work to kill the eggs. Only thing that will work is Bayer dip.

Cheers,
Alex

Thanks. Not sure which frag it came off of. I'm hoping it crawled on just before I got it. They moved it from the stock tank to the sold tank while I was picking them out. I'm going to keep an eye on them for a while.

I ended up loosing a lot of zoas once due to not using a QT tank and only dipping my corals. Those little nudis made quick work on all the zoas in one of my smaller sized tanks.

Cheers,
Alex
