These guys came along on the base of a toadstool. They glow faintly under blue light (did not photograph well.) I assume they are more of a pest variety as they are growing more heads in a fairly new tank (7 months.)

I got the same palys….they are invasive and grow super fast. I’m not sure what they are called though.
 
I don't know if they have a hobby name but they look like the dangerous kind

That picture with the article is far better than mine and that is totally what they look like. Does anyone have a suggestion? I unfortunately love the toadstool they are growing around. Just leave them be?
 
Appreciate all of the replies. Conflicted on trying to remove them (while using precautions!) vs. letting them stay. It seems at the very least that I will need to trim them back at some point because of their rapid growth.

I recommend isolating fast growing species to islands so they do not overgrow main rock work.
