Hi, I started an aquarium recently and noticed that the Zoas are changing color. When I got them they were red almost brown, pieces came out of a tank that were scraps and had grown in low light. I am noticing that some of the tips and parts are turning blue, also the newest growth/heads(?) are blue. Older ones look to be getting a blue outer ring. I did see the main tank they came from and they were all brown/red.
Could they actually change for the better?
I also don't know if my light is too close, it's the Kessil 150 Ocean Blue. Could my light be doing better and they were bluish all along? I was going to give these away but may keep them if they turn out different. I've read of nice Zoas turning brown but what about uglies(opinion) turning out to be nice looking? Any info would be great.
