Wow. That’s all I have to say... bought my first frags online last week and they arrived today. And o.m.g it’s disgusting.

so I always dip. I dip in seachem reef dip, in saltwater usually. This time I dipped in RO.

zoas on two frags looked fine. One however is covered in at least two kinds of pests. I could t get a photo of one cause camera would t focus. However it is a small white swirl pattern. Assuming eggs. Once placed in the dip this 2-3mm long brown thing (some kinda pod?) fell off and started running around.
these zoas are also covered with this weird jelly stuff that has black dots (eggs) inside. I used a turkey baster to get as much off as possible and used tweezers for the rest. I’m sure they’re not clean clean though and will repeat dip in a day or so.

zoas remain in QT.

hi swirls are prob zoa eating nudis kill em all

Zoanthid eating nudis. Dip them and quarantine them if you can. Continuously dip over the next few days to kill the newly hatched eggs because the dip won't kill the eggs.
