Zoa Pest???

Hello everyone. This zoa frag was my very first coral purchase, along with a hammer and frogspawn. When i purchased it (towards the end of June), i never noticed anything odd.

Shortly thereafter i noticed a cloudy, slug looking thing surrounding one of the polyps. Well, fast forward a couple months and now it appears to have gotten significantly larger. The tips on both ends are pointy. I tried my best to take a few pics and circle the thing in question.

Anybody have any idea what this is and what i should do?

^^ and you can remove it with tweezers if its irritating the zoas. Otherwise id leave it!

That is an evasive species. I would remove and monitor, also dont put the frag on a rock structure until you are sure none were left behind.
