Zoa polyps dissapering

So the process takes about 2 or 3 days. One day the polyp will look fine, the next the polyp looks like it wont open all the way and then within the next 2 days, the polyp is completely gone! Anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? It has happened on 2 different zoas in my tank.

at night look for some predators. sounds like nudis. look at the link below for an example of a nudis

Do u see any white mark on the polps before they melt way?

New tank? Old tank?

Look very carefully for anyting white in there!

if you see one of this clown crab remove from the tank they love to eat palys!

No white spots, no crabs, I'm at a loss. No new polyp losses since I first posted. The tank is a few months old.

If you have a few with closed polyps, I'd pull them out and check for white spots with a magnifying glass. I had something similar that turned out to be Zoa Pox. I've been treating it for a few weeks and most have come back, but the really nice stuff is still sick. Hope you have your issue under control at this point. I'm about 85% there, my Magicians, Everlasting Gobstopers and AOGs are all still sick.

Another possibility, I found one of these after a FWD because I could not figure why mine were dissapearing!
