Hello I was wondering if anyone has an idea as to why some zoas grow in tight bunches and others stretch themselves far apart from each other. Terrible pics but some examples the rastas have a lot of space between each polyp

Same with the tubbs blues here

The zoanthid with the most real estate at the end wins. I have often wondered if it's true that placing different types of zoanthids close to each other stimulates them to grow faster because of the competition factor, probably just a marketing ploy.
