I have a Spartan's Pride (Candy Apple Green)Zoanthid and a Captain America Paly. Now right now the Spartan is at the top and it doesn;t extend at all. It basically shrinks its stalk down as if trying to escape light. Is that good?

My Captain America is in the middle and it doesn;t open all the way one side is sort of folded in. When at the bottom it opened completely.

COuld they be getting too much light? I have 4x54w Tek fixture.

Would I be better off putting them both at the bottom?

What size tank (depth)? I always start things in on the bottom and work them up just to be safe. In my 40B's with Tek lighting (4-39W), I have to partially shade many of my Z's and P's.

FWIW my captain america's are sitting under 450-500 par (250w 20k radium under a lumenmax elite reflector) with low flow They tripled in 1 month.

How long have they been on the bottom and how much higher did you move them?
