Every now and then when i see white spots on my zoa stems i worry it is zoa pox but so far they are not. From observation point of view are these white spots inside or outside stems?

Zoa Pox are found on the outside of stems.

Thank you for the clear photo. I am still trying to learn the difference between pox and that's just the way some zoa look. I have had zoa which stems have a few pox look alike thing but turned out its not pox because nothing has happened to these zoa.

You have pics?

I sometimes see White Spots which appear to be inside the Polps Skin.

I do not know if they are POX or soon to be POX so I quarantine them in my SPS Tank and Furan-2 Dip them.

If they are like Protruding Zits like the Pic Above they are Definetly POX though.

But I think I know what you are talking about though.

Lets see some Pics Please.

Some of my polyps have white spots/stripes on the stem, especially the large people eater type polyps.
Otherwise it might be zoa pox if it's a defined white spot on the outside of the stem. I personally pop and dip with success. It can spread quickly if changes aren't made
