I get rid of zoa pox by performing hydrogen peroxide dips and very gently poking the pox that don't peel off with a syringe/needle/something sharp, which usually causes them to come off. However, from what I have read furan dips work as well, I just have never tried that method.

Interesting... Do you do cut the h2o2 with water, or just do it full strength? I have some laying around, so I could certainly give it a try. Also, do you just do one dip, or multiple dips? And, how long do you dip?
What I find odd is that this is the oldest frag I have... I got it back in January. I did recently get some zoas in, but none of them seem to show any signs of it. I guess that's a good reason to start dipping before I put in my tank.

Zoa pox is strange for sure. Ive tried the h202 dip and it seems a little more aggressive then the furan dip. I lost a couple frags//mini colonies with h202 but furan x3 days in a row I have had a lot better luck. Good luck pox can be pain!

thats THEM Go get furan-2 or bifuran.. Add one pack for 4 cups of water .. place the effected zoa/paly in the solution for no longer then 25 min take it out rinse with seasoned tank water and place in a isolated are in the system .. repeat this for 3 days. and no more then three days. wait a week and repeat.. sometimes this works it has worked for me twice.. Make sue you keep your treatment water warm.. You can also make the furan solution stronger I just do it in four cups so it is not as stress full. DO NOT GET FURAN IN YOU DISPLAY..

I do half a packet of Furan2 in 1 cup water for 30 min. Float it in your sump to keep the temp up, then rinse and put into high flow. 3 days in a row. I rarely if ever lose zoas due to zoapox doing it this way. I've also tried (accidentally lol) letting them soak overnight in the Furan2. This will get rid of the zoapox overnight, but the zoas bleach out pretty badly. I have 2 colonies recovering from this currently :/
