What are purple hornets going for on average?

I would love to see like reefers list of pricing on z&ps that is updated all the time, that would help a lot of people i'm sure. Such a huge list with so many variants of zoas these days it might be too big for even a group to even manage and keep updated.

But i have a great growth rate on PH and was wondering what they are going for these days? 10.00 PP? 5.00 PP?

I wouldn't know... I never worry about "how much they're going for" and price everything for what I think is reasonable. Then again, I sell just about everything at 50% or more off "what they go for"

That's why we're such good friends! LOL

got any frags of the SC a bomb? lol

And I think you for it Pete and rhino to help u I seen them 2 weeks ago 35$ for 5 polyps and the same week 29$ for 5 polyps if this helps

I dunno what that is... The way I look at pricing is this. Charge whatever you're comfortable with. If you want to sell them at $1000 per polyp and you're comfortable with that then go ahead. I just charge what I think is a reasonable price that I would be happy paying for a frag. But then again, I'm a cheapskate lol

This is exactly what I do. I feel good about not trying to get the max out of every single polyp, and not ripping people off. I sell for what I think is reasonable and fair.

I think the only exception to this as far as what I have is a stratosphere, wowser, and hallucination. If I sold a strat for $100 my inbox would be full for months...

well you have to know what they are going for to have 50% of that as an asking price, I am thinking like 400.00 for 100 polyps which is 4.00 pp so that's probably a pretty good deal. I always do the best i can with pricing, im honest and fair, but you have to have an idea of what they're worth to start with. 10.00 pp?

Its not that I go and find the going rate and divide by 2. I price them where I want to and see others selling them for more. I have sold Yuma for $30 and saw the exact same thing sell for $150 from a vendor within days. I sold one a week later at $30 as well.

10 is about right. Are you trying to sell a colony of purple hornets? $400 is a great deal, it seems colonies are a harder sell though, in my opinion at least.

man! I wish you guys sold Ferrari's, no wait then they wouldn't be rare... we would all have one. lol

Yeah i usually have no problem selling stuff within a day as i do try to set the lowest possible price i would accept for it. But it costs me a lot to run my setup of money i just don't have anymore so anything i can do to offset the cost helps. I would hate to shut my tanks down. but yeah i have 120 or so now but ill wait until it gets to 500 polyps or so.

I'm sorry, but a list as such (and this thread, for that matter) cannot be permitted here on R2R.

The points many have made here about prices are quite valid. Ask what they are worth to you.

Someone once told me, the mark of a good deal is when a buyer walks away thinking "I probably paid a bit too much" and the seller is left thinking "I probably made a bit too little".
