As I have mentioned in a previous thread I have finally purchased my first coral and I chose a Zoa. Looks like a radioactive dragon eyes to me. Anyways the question I have here is how long to keep them in QT. I am trying to start out right and have followed many great suggestions from this site. I am just not sure what the length of time is. I know the main reason to QT corals is to make sure there are no pests. I have looked all over and do not see anything alarming, but that does not mean I know exactly what to look for. Could someone be so kind as to give me a clue to what I should be looking for and how long I should keep my coral in QT. I imagine the length of time is based on the life cycle of the different pests. Thanks in advance. Oh, and in case you did not catch my earlier post here is my new coral. Definitely feeling an itch here. I can see why some people become addicted to zoas with the different colors. Probably join you addicts in the near future.
