Zoa question

Two colonies of my zoas have been closed all day. Just checked parameters, and my trates are around 40. they also look a little puffy around the bases, should I worry? Thanks, Deb

Wow, nitrates around 40 is super high. Definitely do a water change and then identify why your nitrates are spiking so high so that you can fix the problem, not just the symptoms. Depending on how long your zoos were exposed to that they'll be fine. Long term exposure is usually fatal.
