These guys are showing good growth. I placed the larger one higher to start with, but it lost its color. When I placed it in the middle of the tank, where I put the gobstopper, it regained color. My question is, are they reaching for light, or are zoa polyps supposed to be long like this? The pictures I see in other's tanks make them look like they are almost flush with therockwork.

Hi Eliza,

some Zoas need more light than others depending on their color. Those Zoas are reaching for light hence they are stretching. Move the Zoas gradually to a place higher in your tank. If you move them drastically, these could melt. It happened to me :)
