Zoa questions

I picked up my first Zoas yesterday added them into my tank and within minutes they was open. What’s the best way to get them to start spreading. I have reef roids how often should I feed them that. I have them in the lower lever of my tank with some flow

I hate to say it but the best thing is patience. Different zoa's grow at different speeds and even that can change from tank to tank (lighting, nitrates, phosphates etc) Them spreading is typically more a matter of months than days.
